Phone and electronics ads in Syria: who advertises, where, and what works?
· Reach Media Network · 2 min read
A phone is not an ordinary purchase in Syria. Buyers compare prices between shops, ask about the warranty, and fear refurbished devices. That is why a winning phone ad looks different from any other product ad.
Who advertises phones and electronics?
In the week of 6 to 12 October 2026 we tracked 45 advertisers in phones and electronics, running 90 ads. Most are shops and stores, some selling video games and computer parts. The most active included:
- EliteHub for electronics and accessories: 14 ads, mostly video.
- Gaming center for consoles and video games: 8 ads.
- Phone stores such as Smart Address, Abshir Mobile and Mega Technology.
Alongside them, general marketplaces such as Doushesh advertise phones among many classified ads.

Why do buyers hesitate?
Every week we see scam and spam ads: more than one in ten ads in Syria is spam, and that same week we found 26 outright scam ads. Buyers know this, so they doubt any offer cheaper than the market. A phone ad that does not build trust is wasted, even with a good offer.
What works in a phone ad?
A clear price. Only one in five ads in Syria shows a price, and buyers compare before they message.
The warranty and its type: official or shop warranty, and for how many months.
The device's condition, stated honestly: new, clean used, or refurbished.
The shop's address and photo. A real shop reassures more than a page with no address.
An unboxing or hands-on video, or a review by a trusted tech creator.
Clear payment and delivery, with the option to check the device before paying.
When to advertise?
Demand for phones rises with new device launches, before holidays and at the start of the school year. Ads cost a bit more then, but they meet buyers ready to buy. Between seasons, content that compares devices and answers questions keeps the shop's name in people's minds.
To reach tech audiences fast, posts on tech and governorate pages plus creators who try the device on camera complement paid ads.
