Advertising consumer goods and home products in Syria: who advertises and what lasts
· Reach Media Network · 3 min read
Home appliances, furniture and kitchens are among the most advertised products in Syria. But the picture is not what many expect: one advertiser fills half the sector, and big food brands are almost absent.
The third biggest ad sector
In the week of 6 to 12 October 2026 we tracked 111 advertisers in home and appliances, after health and beauty and travel. They ran 322 ads, the highest number of ads of any sector.
One advertiser, 137 ads
Volcano Group, a home appliances company, ran 137 ads on its own that week, more than 40% of the sector's ads. Almost every ad is a short video showing one product and its key feature: a laser cooker, a child lock, a surface that wipes clean. The button sends a message to the page.
The lesson is not only the number. When you sell dozens of products, one ad per product finds the person who wants that product, instead of one general ad nobody cares about.

Ads that run for months
Among the long-running ads are commercial kitchen equipment from Al Razana (since January) and scent diffusers from Jannah Scent (since March). What they share: a video showing the product working, and a clear audience (restaurant owners, or people who want a nice-smelling home). An ad that runs for a long time usually sells.
Where are the big food brands?
The whole food sector had only 33 advertisers, mostly restaurants and small shops. A well-known food brand with more than a million page followers ran only two ads all week. These companies rely more on pages, distribution and content creators than on paid ads.
That leaves an opening: a consumer product that advertises steadily today does not compete with many others. And smart content around the product, like the New Park series with Dr. Sara, can bring millions of views with little competition.
How to advertise a consumer product in Syria
A short video per product showing it in use, not a product shot on a white background.
Write the price or a "from" price. Only one in five ads in Syria mentions a price, so the ones that do stand out.
Tell people where to find the product: shops, delivery, or an order number.
Combine paid ads, posts on governorate pages, and a creator who uses the product at home.
Test many versions of the ad and let the numbers choose, as the most active advertisers do.
