Clinic and beauty center ads in Syria: the most active ad sector and what sets the winners apart
· Reach Media Network · 3 min read
Open Facebook or Instagram in Syria these days and most ads you see come from a clinic or a beauty center. We tracked every paid ad aimed at Syria for a full week, and health and beauty came first by a clear margin.
How many clinics and beauty centers advertise in Syria?
In the week of 6 to 12 October 2026, 162 health and beauty advertisers ran ads, close to one in every five advertisers. Together they ran 313 paid ads. The next sector, travel and Umrah, had 122 advertisers.
Who advertises?
Most advertisers are small pages: about half have fewer than two thousand page likes. Paid ads are their main way to reach people, not their page audience. The most active advertisers that week included:
- Eylem Clinic, a hair transplant clinic in Aleppo: 41 ads in more than 370 versions of text and image. It tests a lot and lets Meta pick the best.
- Al-Bahsa Specialized Medical Center: 22 ads with a "Call now" button.
- Royal Clinic Aleppo for dentistry and Lucinda Clinic for beauty and slimming, both advertising for months.

What do these ads say?
1. The button: message or call
Close to half of all ads in Syria ask people to send a message. Clinics go further: WhatsApp or a direct call. The reason is simple: patients want to ask before they decide, and the price is rarely written in the ad.
2. Video before images
More than half of ads in Syria are videos. In clinic ads the doctor, the place or the result usually appears. A real face builds trust faster than a design.
3. Long-running ads
Some centers have run the same ad for months. When an advertiser keeps paying for one ad, it is usually because it brings patients.
What makes a clinic ad work?
Show the real doctor and place, not stock photos.
Write the city and neighborhood clearly: most patients look for a clinic nearby.
Give a reason to get in touch: a free consultation, or a clear starting price.
Reply to messages within minutes. A patient who waits goes to another clinic.
Combine paid ads with educational content that answers patients' questions, as doctor-creators do.
Mistakes that hurt medical ads
Guaranteed results, or exaggerated weight-loss numbers.
Edited before-and-after photos. Meta restricts them in slimming and beauty ads.
Addressing people by a flaw ("Are you going bald?"). Meta's ad policy bans this and it can stop the ad.
If your clinic serves one city, paid ads plus local city pages reach nearby people fast. To build trust over time, educational content with health content creators works better than any single ad.
